How to become a MoMo Agent
Step 1:
As an aspiring Agent, you will need to first complete the Agent application form, Agent account handler form and Mobile Money agreement form.
Step 2:
Based on the type of business you run; the following documents will be required:
Vendor:
- Trading license accompanied by a City Council permit
- Copy of ID or valid passport (trading license holder)
- Granted permission from City Council upon inspection of the location
Rural spaza or kiosk:
- Trading license
- Copy of ID or valid passport (Business owner)
- Copy of ID or valid passport (account handlers that will be performing transactions)
- Working premises
Sole Trader:
- Current copy of Trading License
- Copy of ID or valid passport (trading license holder)
- Copy of ID or passport of account handlers (individuals who will be working with the account)
- Legal working premises reflecting on trading license
