Step 1:

As an aspiring MoMo Agent, you will need to first complete the Agent application form, Agent account handler form, and Mobile Money agreement form. 

Step 2:

Based on the type of business you run; the following documents will be required:

Vendor:

• Trading license accompanied by a City Council permit
• Copy of ID or valid passport (trading license holder)
• Granted permission from City Council upon inspection of the location

Rural spaza or kiosk:

• Trading license
• Copy of ID or valid passport (Business owner)
• Copy of ID or valid passport (account handlers that will be performing transactions)
• Working premises 

Sole Trader:

• Current copy of Trading License
• Copy of ID or valid passport (trading license holder)
• Copy of ID or passport of account handlers (individuals who will be working with the account)
• Legal working premises reflecting on trading license

Company:

• Current copy of Trading License
• Copies of ID or passport (Directors)
• Memorandum and Articles of Association
• Certification of Incorporation
• Copy of ID or valid passport (account handlers)
• Legal working premises

Corporates:

Company                                                                      

• Memorandum and Articles of Association;
• Resolution to open Account;
• Certificate of Incorporation;
• Trading License;
• Form J & C;
• Tax Clearance Certificate;
• Lease Agreement for Company Premises (Where Applicable) or proof of physical address for entity;

Partnership

• Copy of Constitution or Deed of Partnership;
• Partnership Resolution for Account opening;
• Proof of physical address for entity;
• Proof of residence for Signatories/Partners;
• National Identity document for Signatories/Partners.

Sole Trader

• Trading License;
• Tax Clearance Certificate;
• Proof of physical address for entity;
• Proof of Residence for Sole Trader;
• National Identity document for the director.

Cooperatives and Association Customers

• Constitution / By laws;
• Commissioner of Co-ops certificate;
• Proof of registration with FSRA;
• Minutes authorizing opening of an account account/ Resolution to open Account;
• Proof of address for Co-op;
• Proof of Residence of Signatories;
• National Identity documents for Signatories.

Churches

• Church Constitution;
• Resolution to open Mobile Money Account;
• Signatories’ proof of residence documents;
• Proof of physical address (confirmed by letter from city council / Umphakatsi depending on the location of the church);
• Proof of Residence of Signatories;
• National Identity for Signatories.

Sports Teams

• Constitution;
• Affiliation letter from recognized body e.g. Football Association; Swaziland National Basketball Association.
• Minutes of meeting when decision was taken to open and account/ Resolution to open Account;
• Proof of physical address
• Proof of Residence of Signatories;
• National Identity for Signatories

Schools

• Letter from Regional Office (REO);
• School committee constitution;
• Minutes of meeting when decision was taken to open and account/ Resolution to open Account;
• Proof of physical address for School;
• National Identity for Signatories
• Proof of Residence of Signatories

Non-Profit Making Organizations (NGOs)

• Constitution;
• Minutes of meeting when decision was taken to open and account/ Resolution to open Account;
