MTN Eswatini does it again!
We’re excited to have been awarded the 2024, Yello Care South and East African (SEA) Regional Award at the MTN Group Leadership Gathering (GLG) currently taking place in Johannesburg, South Africa.
This award is testament to our commitment to continuously support and empower our communities.
The Y’ello Care’ campaign has our MTN team volunteer their time and resources to support local communities. Bringing home a prize valued at $30,000 (approximately 562,500 ZAR) this year, is a testament to our unwavering commitment to community service and innovation.
In our #YelloCare2024 campaign, MTNers improved and empowered children in the rural and remote communities under the theme “Learn Today, Lead Tomorrow”. Last year, we impacted 3 109 learners/children, 21 teachers and 500 refugees with a special focus on the 280 refugee children reached. Our appreciation goes to our team and partners for such amazing work.
In addition to the Y’ello Care Regional Award, MTN Eswatini also received the Best Use of Digital & Financial Tools Award and the Acts with Inclusion Award. These honors highlight our dedication to leveraging technology for social good and fostering an inclusive environment.
This prize is a win for the country as we will be ploughing it back into the communities this year, during the 2025 Yello Care Campaign.
