GPRS is billed at 90 cents per 300 kilobytes. |
|
| A |
Unlike voice calls, GPRS is not charged based on the duration you spend but by the amount of data you transfer. So, if you spend 5 minutes going into a website; you will be charged the same amount as someone who visits the same website but for a longer time while downloading the same amount of data. Data volume is measured in Kilobytes. MTN charges E2.00 per 1000 Kilobytes which amounts to 0.002 Cents per kilobyte. MTN Swaziland GPRS charges are far below that of other networks around the World, and the cost of using GPRS is the same with PayAsYouGo and using a Contract phone.
Safety Tips
When you finish a browsing session, rememeber to end the session properly, otherwise you will be continuously charged until the internet is closed. This will result in your airtime being depleted even though you were not necessarily on the internet.
